Emerald green moves through this piece in rich, saturated pools, with navy and deep teal creating depth and shadow in the layers beneath. Pale gray and soft white open throughout like cloud breaking apart, and warm gold burns through the center of the detail like sun finding its way back through. Light blue moves through the lower portions with a quietness that balances all that depth above, and dark branching forms run through the composition like trees seen through mist or ink moving through water.
This piece was made with presence, breath, and complete surrender to what the paint wanted to do.
